Contemporary Dance Mini Program for Beginners (Thursdays)

w/ Anja Treffer

Starts
Europe/Berlin
Ends
Europe/Berlin

5 classes · 210 € early bird until 1 Nov.

Have you always wanted to dance but never knew where to start? This is your invitation.

This five-week mini program is made for absolute beginners of all ages. It’s a warm, supportive space where there’s no “wrong” way to move. You can explore freely, try things out, make mistakes without pressure, and leave each class feeling a little more confident in your body.

We’ll start with the foundations: body awareness, posture, musicality, how we move through space, and how we move together as a group. Along the way you’ll discover the core principles of contemporary dance. Week by week, these elements come together into simple movement sequences and short choreographies, giving you a real sense of what it feels like to dance.

No experience needed, just curiosity and the willingness to move.

Your Teacher

Anja Treffer

Anja is a Munich-based dancer and dance educator. She completed her contemporary dance studies at Iwanson International and previously earned her diploma as a state-certified movement educator and gymnastics teacher at the Bode School in Munich. Since childhood, she has been exploring space through movement — and even today, expansive, space-filling movement remains a central element of her work. About her classes: Through targeted exercises, we deepen our awareness of body and space. We express our creativity through movement, sometimes quieting the mind and letting the soul dance.

Our Studio

Bona Dance Studio is located in the heart of Munich-Haidhausen. Our bright, open studio has 130 m² of space and a professional dance floor, so there’s plenty of room to move, stretch, and explore.

Right next to the studio you’ll find a changing room and a communal kitchen, where you can make a cup of coffee or tea, chat with fellow dancers, and settle in before or after class.
